From September 29 to October 2, 2026, Willas Electronic Vietnam organized a four-day, three-night trip to Taiwan, bringing together university lecturers, experts, students, and representatives from the technology and electronics sector.
The trip was organized with the aim of strengthening connections between businesses, universities, and students in Vietnam, while providing participants with opportunities to experience Taiwan’s technology ecosystem, business environment, and higher education institutions firsthand.
Among the participants was the Champion of the Hanoi MCU-FPGA Design Contest 2026, together with other outstanding members of the competition. The trip was part of Willas’ efforts to connect young engineering talents with businesses and the international technology community.
Willas Connects Vietnamese Businesses, Universities and Students with Taiwan
For Willas Electronic Vietnam, the Taiwan trip was more than a company visit or sightseeing program. It was designed as a platform for business networking, academic exchange, and knowledge sharing between Vietnam and Taiwan.
During the four-day trip, the delegation visited and interacted with various technology companies, universities, and industry organizations in Taiwan, including SONiX, YoungTek, Lingsheng Precision Industry, Taipei Tech, and LHU, as well as partners within Willas’ technology ecosystem.
Through these visits and direct exchanges, participants gained practical insights into:
- Electronics technology and the semiconductor industry.
- Research and development activities within technology companies.
- Working environments in the electronics and technology sectors.
- Education and technical research at universities.
- Industry requirements and the development of technical talent.
The trip also provided Willas with opportunities to strengthen relationships with partners in Taiwan and explore potential cooperation in technology, education, and human resource development.

Connecting Businesses, Universities and Students Through Real-World Experiences
One of the key objectives of the Taiwan trip was to create an environment where businesses, universities, experts, and students could meet, exchange ideas, and learn from one another.
For businesses, the trip provided an opportunity to share insights into industry needs, technology trends, and the skills required for future technical talent.
For university lecturers and experts, visits to Taiwanese companies and universities offered additional perspectives on technical education, research, and the connection between academic programs and industry requirements.
For students, the trip was an opportunity to step beyond the classroom and experience an international technology environment firsthand. By interacting directly with companies and universities in Taiwan, students could gain a clearer understanding of the industry, potential career paths, and the knowledge and skills required for their future careers.

From Champion of the Hanoi MCU-FPGA Design Contest 2026 to Real-World Technology Experience in Taiwan
A highlight of the trip was the participation of the Champion of the Hanoi MCU-FPGA Design Contest 2026.
After taking part in an academic competition, the students had the opportunity to experience Taiwan’s technology ecosystem firsthand, observe how technical knowledge is applied in real-world business environments, and learn more about the connection between engineering education and technology development.
For Willas, this represents an important step beyond academic competitions: creating opportunities for young engineering talents to connect with businesses and gain practical exposure to the technology industry.
Experiences like these can help students better understand how knowledge gained in the classroom connects with real-world applications in electronics, microcontrollers, FPGA, and embedded systems.

Willas: Building a Bridge Between Vietnam and Taiwan
The Taiwan trip from September 29 to October 2, 2026, reflects Willas Electronic Vietnam’s commitment to building stronger connections between Vietnam and Taiwan in technology and education.
Beyond connecting businesses with businesses, Willas aims to foster collaboration among businesses, universities, experts, and students, creating more opportunities for knowledge exchange, professional development, and long-term cooperation.
Through company visits, academic programs, technology activities, and networking initiatives, Willas continues to create opportunities for students to gain practical experience while bringing businesses and universities closer together.

Continuing to Build Meaningful Connections
For Willas, a successful trip is not simply measured by the number of places visited, but by the connections and opportunities that continue after the journey.
Moving forward, Willas Electronic Vietnam will continue to promote activities connecting Vietnam and Taiwan, particularly in electronics technology, technical education, research, and human resource development.
From businesses and universities to the next generation of engineers, Willas aims to create more opportunities to connect, share, learn, and collaborate, contributing to a stronger and more meaningful technology and education ecosystem between Vietnam and Taiwan.
